Mind Body Spirit is an investigative inquiry into the perception of women, in and out of menstruation. Two themes of inquiry prevail in the study of Rorschach tests - a symbol of outdated approaches to mental health - and through this symbol, we can remember all the women who were diagnosed with hysteria, and were mocked and abused horrendously. The second topic of inquiry is into the menstruation of women and the perception of this from those who don't experience it, and see a woman and their period as something to be studied. Through this work, I wish to dismantle the false images and ideals placed on women and present a personal study commending the strong women who deal with a world of stereotypes and patriarchy.
